2008-09 LITTLE TECHSTERS KIDS KLUB MEMBERSHIPS NOW AVAILABLE

         RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – Children ages 5-12 can enjoy all of the excitement of Arkansas Tech University athletics for one low price by joining the Little Techster Kids Klub for 2008-09.

            Registration is $10 and includes admission to every Arkansas Tech home football and basketball game during the 2008-09 academic year, a Little Techster Kids Klub football and opportunities during the year to meet Tech student-athletes and coaches.

            “This will be the second year for the Little Techster Kids Klub,” said Kelly Davis, director of corporate and athletic relations at Arkansas Tech. “We had a great response in 2007-08, and we are proud to offer this program to area youth again this year. Arkansas Tech sporting events are all about providing a family atmosphere at an affordable price, and the Little Techster Kids Klub is a great example of our commitment to those ideals.”

            Little Techsters receive a membership card, which is their ticket to all home football and basketball games. McDonald’s of Russellville returns as the Little Techster Kids Klub sponsor for a second consecutive year.

            “We could not do this without the partnership with Kristy and Brad Allen and the folks at McDonald’s of Russellville,” said Davis. “We are very grateful for their support.”

            Arkansas Tech opens its 2008-09 home athletics schedule on Thursday, Aug. 28, by hosting Northeastern State University (Okla.) for a 7 p.m. football game at Thone Stadium at Buerkle Field.
