TECH VOLLEYBALL IMPROVES TO 10-1 ON SEASON WITH WINS
OVER EAST CENTRAL, ST. GREGORY'S IN OKLAHOMA

         ADA, Oklahoma – Arkansas Tech Volleyball continued its six-match road swing here Tuesday by collecting victories over East Central and St. Gregory's.

         Tech opened the tri-match with a four-set win over the host team, East Central [OK] (21-25, 25-14, 25-17, 25-16) and then concluded the tri-match with a three-set sweep over St. Gregory's (25-12, 25-9, 25-14).

          With the two wins, Tech improves its record to 10-1 on the season. The two victories followed Tech's first loss of the season on Saturday against Wayne [NE] State in its final match of the Southwest Baptist/Bearcat Invitational.

          The Golden Suns return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 10, when they welcome Southwestern Oklahoma to Tucker Coliseum for a 7 p.m. non-conference match. The match is High School Volleyball Night and is the first of Tech's nine theme nights this year.
